Press Policy
Rosie’s Place is a sanctuary for poor and homeless women dedicated to helping women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives. In order to respect the privacy of our guests, we have enacted the following policies regarding media and publicity:
All media requests must be approved in advance by Jamie Doyle, Director of Communications at jdoyle@rosiesplace.org.
- Rosie’s Place does not permit any photographs, videos or recordings of guests to be taken on-site or on the premises surrounding the facility. Stock photographs are available for use.
- Interviews with guests are strictly prohibited unless previously arranged by the Director of Communications.
- Use of the Rosie’s Place name and/or logo, and any writing regarding Rosie’s Place must be approved by the Director of Communications prior to printing, posting or distribution.
- At their request and approval, volunteers and volunteer groups may have their photographs taken in the kitchen or Dining Room by a Rosie’s Place staffer prior to the Dining Room doors being opened for guests.
- No photographs of volunteers with guests are allowed.
