Happy Mother's Day from Rosie's Place!

“The face of homeless women is our face.
She is our mother, our sister, our daughter..."

~ Kip Tiernan, founder of Rosie's Place

The women we meet every day at Rosie’s Place are not defined by the circumstances they find themselves in or the challenges they are confronting. They are mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, students, colleagues and confidantes with their own unique paths and passions.

The same can be said for our mothers who, of course, are more than mothers. They are women whose stories are often bigger than what we might see as their children.

Thanks to friends like you, today at Rosie’s Place, we will welcome hundreds of women who need our help, with unconditional love and compassion. As they’ve been for nearly five decades, our doors are wide open and so too, are our hearts.

And this weekend, we will join you in remembering and recognizing all the women—who are much more than we may realize.

From everyone at Rosie’s Place, happy Mother’s Day!

In celebration and solidarity,

Leemarie Mosca
