Community Collaborative at Franklin Field
Our satellite office provides an array of Rosie’s Place services, such as advocacy, job assistance, food access and legal aid, to families in the Franklin Field public housing development in Dorchester.
Rosie’s Place opened a satellite office at the Franklin Field public housing development in Dorchester, because not every woman in need can make her way to Rosie’s Place. The women at Franklin Field are single mothers who struggle to make ends meet while raising children in one of the city’s most underserved neighborhoods.
We bring food, advocacy, legal services and more to Franklin Field and have coordinated holiday parties, health fairs, art classes and kids’ activities. Over 3,700 residents participate in Rosie’s Place-led activities each year.
At Franklin Field we offer:
- one-on-one advocacy
- long-term, in-home support
- drop-in legal clinic
- career counselor
- food access via Fresh Truck
- workshops and groups
- activities for families and children
