Whether a woman needs urgent assistance or long-term help our advocates work one-on-one with guests to help them find lasting answers to the challenges in their lives. Assistance may include housing, employment opportunities, substance abuse treatment, mental health services or emergency funds for eviction prevention. Our advocates work hard to tackle any problem that a woman brings to Rosie’s Place while making them feel safe and supported in the process.
Rosie's Place also provides specialists who are able to assist women with more complex problems: a social worker from the Department of Mental Heath, a housing search specialist, legal service specialists and a job-search professional. By bringing these experts in -house we are able to tailor the services we provide to the specific needs of our guests.
